We actually had a very productive snow day. It started with two routine dental check-ups for both kids (which went excellent), followed by special donuts from the grocery store to eat later with our hot chocolate, sledding and snow play, and then topped off with some homemade play dough fun! It truly was awesome having the kids home with me with no where to be (aside from the dentist!), especially Charlotte since she is gone every day from 7am to 2pm. We were surprised when we got the call that school would be canceled the next day as well due to cold temps and black ice. We made sure to take advantage of staying in jammies as long as possible that next morning and just enjoyed our time together. Snow or very little of it, we love snow days!
This is a non-traditional blog of things our family is up to weekly, monthly or when I get a moment to record it! All our photos and more can still be found on the Shutterfly website http://charlotteavaw.shutterfly.com/ Enjoy!

Snow Day(s)!
After our snow adventure weekend we kind of felt snow-satisfied but we of course would welcome the chance to see snow in Charlotte and maybe even have a SNOW DAY! Well that wish came true last week! We may not have gotten much snow (less than 2 inches) but it was enough to close school for 2 days and enough to sled down our back berm!
