Our princess is 6!

Every year I say the same thing, "I can't believe my baby is another year older," but it's so true so I  have to say it once again because time just flies.  So our precious little girl has turned 6 years old in the blink of an eye and we are so proud of the little girl she has turned into or big girl I should say! She was truly pampered for her birthday with lots of goodies, lots of love and of course presents!! We threw her an American Girl doll party at her request with her closest friends and a few pals from school.

The party started with a photo in my hand crafted AG doll box. I think it came out pretty good...minus the knee marks on the front from me kneeling on it to paint! Oops!  After photos the girls got to decorate their goodie bags that they would be using to collect treats and presents in our American Girl treasure hunt! But first pizza!  After pizza we dove into the treasure hunt which took them all over the house, outside and even to the pool and tennis courts nearby.  They had a great time finding the clues and of course finding little surprises along the way!  The hunt lead Charlotte to a lot of her presents from us so it was really exciting for her.  We topped the party off with some yummy cupcakes and then some outdoor free play.  It was a great day!
