Today is Charlotte's last day of Kindergarten and boy is it bittersweet! She absolutely loved kindergarten and having Mrs. Frey as her teacher, and she will truly miss school...but it's summer and who doesn't love sleeping in (let's see if my kids can do it!), endless hours at the pool, fun adventures around our great city, playing with friends, trips to the beach, road trips to visit family, and many other totally fun things we will do this summer (we will throw in educational stuff too of course!) So while it's sad that the sweet kindergarten year is over and that my little girl is getting bigger and bigger, I think it is safe to say that we welcome summer and all it has to offer with open arms!
We kicked off our summer this morning with a surprise at the breakfast table...new beach buckets and tools for the beach, books and pool accessories! When Charlotte gets off the bus today we will head to the ice cream shop to officially celebrate the ending of a wonderful school year and the start to a fun summer! I am just super excited to have all this time with my kiddos!
